Can I draw freehand on any page?
Yes. You can navigate to any page in your PDF and draw on it. Use the page navigation controls to move between pages and add drawings to each page independently.
What colors can I use?
The tool provides a full color picker, so you can choose any color for your drawings. Common choices include red for corrections and markup, blue for notes, black for general annotations, and green for approvals.
Can I adjust the pen thickness?
Yes. You can adjust the line thickness to suit your needs. Use thin lines for detailed annotations or thick strokes for bold, attention-grabbing marks. The thickness setting persists as you draw multiple strokes.
Can I undo a drawing?
Yes. The editor supports undo and redo, so you can remove a stroke immediately after drawing it. You can also select and delete individual drawing elements before downloading the final PDF.
Does it work with a stylus or touchscreen?
Absolutely. The drawing canvas supports touch and stylus input, making it ideal for tablets and touchscreen laptops. Use an Apple Pencil, Surface Pen, or your finger for natural, handwritten annotations.
Are drawings permanent in the PDF?
Yes. When you download the annotated PDF, all drawings are embedded directly into the document content. They will be visible in any PDF viewer and when printed. Keep your original file if you need the clean version.
Is my data safe?
All processing happens entirely in your browser. Your PDF files are never uploaded to any server. ConvertKr cannot see, access, or store your documents. Once you close the tab, all data is gone.
Can I draw shapes like circles and arrows?
The freehand drawing tool lets you draw any shape by hand, including circles, arrows, lines, checkmarks, crosses, and underlines. For best results, draw slowly and steadily to create clean shapes.
