What types of barcodes can I remove?
Any barcode visible on the page — UPC, EAN, Code 128, Code 39, QR codes, Data Matrix, Interleaved 2 of 5, shipping tracking barcodes, inventory labels, and any other format. If you can see it, you can erase it.
Can I remove barcodes from shipping invoices?
Yes, this is one of the most common use cases. Draw a box around each tracking barcode or carrier code on your shipping documents and download a clean version. The rest of the invoice content remains untouched.
Will the area look blank after removing a barcode?
It depends on your fill mode. White fill leaves a clean white area. Auto Match samples the surrounding background color for a natural look. Blur obscures without leaving a blank spot. Custom Color gives you full control over the fill.
Can I remove barcodes from multiple pages at once?
Yes. Navigate through your document, mark barcodes on each page, and all of them will be erased when you click Remove & Download. There is no limit on the number of areas you can mark.
Is there a file size limit?
No artificial limits. Since processing runs locally in your browser, the practical ceiling depends on your device's available memory. Most modern devices handle multi-page shipping documents without any issues.
Is my data safe?
Absolutely. All processing happens in your browser. Your PDF is never uploaded to any server. ConvertKr cannot see, access, or store your documents. This makes the tool safe for confidential shipping and logistics documents.
Does it work on scanned documents?
Yes. The tool renders pages as images, so it works equally well on digitally created PDFs and scanned documents. As long as the barcode is visible on the rendered page, you can draw a box around it and erase it.
Can I erase other content besides barcodes?
Yes. The tool can erase anything visible — text, images, watermarks, stamps, logos, headers, footers, signatures, and more. Simply draw a box around any content you want removed.
